2013 Transition TR450
If you follow Ride More Bikes on Facebook at all, chances are you have already seen my 2013 Transition TR450. For the most part, the frame is very similar to my 2011 Transition TR450 – playful, confidence inspiring and plush. It will plow on the rough downhill trails, but is is lively enough to throw around when you just want to have fun.
2013 Transition TR450
The 2013 Transition TR450 comes in Black/Blue, Black/Yellow and Black/White. Usually I would deck mine out in parts from Spank Bikes however Transition Bikes have a pretty killer build kit available for a decent price this year. I knew I wouldn’t be keeping the bike for longer than the Summer season in Whistler too. I was also keen to get some ride time on the new 35mm Havoc stem and carbon bars from Easton just to see what the hype was all about, but I will type about that in a future post.

Not a great deal to mention here that I haven’t in previous posts, so how about a spec list? My 2013 Transition TR450 came with Build Kit 1, as I like running Saint Brakes and a Fox 40 anyway, the only differences is a changed chainring and the addition of some Spank Spike Flat Pedals and a pre-production Race Upgrade Kit.
